It's almost noon.

So far, I've woken up, helped Robin out to the car, and eaten a bowl of Fruity Pebbles.

This is my day. These are my days.

I need money to buy film. I need money to buy a new digital camera. I need money for that lens I yearn for. Instead, because I have no money, I stay inside and do things that are guaranteed not to monetarily cost me, personally, anything.

So, I've devised a plan. Once my supplies come in the mail, I will be a Venice Beach street vendor. It will pay my bills.

Does anyone have anything they would care to occasionally contribute to the future touristsalespot on the greatest strip of beachland this side of the Mississippi?

I'm trying hard not to be bothered by past events I never had any control over. I'm mainly disappointed in myself. I wish I knew how to do this better. It comes so naturally to some people; for me it just doesn't.

I am resentful.
I am a little bitter. And I need to work it out.
Yes, mother, I am angry. How could you have ever allowed yourself to be so naive?

On a different note, I want to befriend every person I make eye contact with, but I never know how to go about doing it. I want to know them, you, us, everyone, everywhere.
I need a teacher. I want to actively let people know how much they mean to me, to help them, to photograph them. I've been too distracted lately to focus on the things that make me feel whole. It's been months since the last time I developed anything that could potentially be considered a photo.
It's time to shower. And then sit down and contemplate my next plan of action.

I make an oath never to forget these bits:

Moth the water-tower, dirty skirt hippie and the Jaz companion.
- His personal hammock and the surrounding open areas of his oh-so-humble abode.
- A drunken pass-out-and-piss event.
- Proud cockpits and early morning wake-up calls to REAL roosters.
The 100+ mile drive around the entirety of the Salton Sea.
- Fish bone sand and collected bird skulls.
- Murkiest water un[directly]polluted by the likes of human hands.
- Adam Papagan.
- His tunes.
- David Liebe Hart.
Sandsandsand and dust everywhere.
First time nosebleeds.
Dirty bathroom portals.
Bombay Beach.
- Hunky Daddy and Hunky Beer.
- Fish and chips and vodka cranberries.
- All anyone ever does there is drink.
Incredible people.
- Carlo Rossi and Justine's generosity.
- Car parties and blow-up mattresses beneath seven silly bodies.
Old, hopeful, and leathered longhairs.
The every FridaySaturdaySunday swap meet with six vendors tops.
But the most fundamental by far:
Leonard Knight and his Salvation. Talking to him... you feel a sense of higher, heavier gravity. This little, old man. I've never seen anything to beautiful.

I can't remember the last time feeling so thoroughly fulfilled by one, solitary experience.
